Tanmoy Samanta

Born in 1973. Received a Master's Degree in painting from Visvabharati, Santiniketan, and followed it by training at the Kanoria Arts Centre, Ahmedabad. He has held several solo exhibitions of his work, which has been represented at the India Art Fair, Art Dubai, Dhaka Art Summit and Art Chennai, and is a part of several private collections. His public art projects include an installation at the Hyatt Andaz, Delhi, a site specific collaborative project at IIM Ahmedabad, a display at the Mumbai International Airport, curated by Rajeev Sethi. Recipient of an award from the Pollock-Krasner Foundation, USA. He has participated in several international art residencies and his works have been published in prestigious Indian and international publications.
