Mekhala Bahl

Born in 1980. Received a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts and Printmaking from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island, USA, and did a residency in Painting and Mixed Media at the School of Visual Arts, New York. Received the Student of the Year award in Printmaking at Rhode Island School of Design in 2003 and the G. W. Hodge Ritchie Award for Excellence in Printmaking, USA, in 2002. Has held solo shows in India and the US and shown her work in prestigious international group exhibitions. She brings together photography, printmaking, painting and drawing in her works.
