Manu Parekh

Born in 1939. Diploma in Drawing and Painting at the Sir JJ School of Art Mumbai. Recipient of several awards, including the National Award of the Lalit Kala Akademi and the All India Fine Arts and Crafts Society Award. Conferred a Padmashri by the Government of India in 1992. Has participated in the 3rd, 4th and 5th International Triennial. Has held several solo shows of his work and participated in group shows in India and abroad.
