Madhvi Parekh

Born in 1942. Self taught artist. Gained much of her exposure to art and inspiration for her paintings from her husband and artist, Manu Parekh. Recipient of a French Government Scholarship for Fine Arts to study in Paris in 1970, of the National Award from the Lalit Kala Akademi in 1979, of a Senior Fellowship from the Government of India and a USIA fellowship in 1989. Has held several solo shows of her works and participated in group shows in India and abroad.
