Antonio E. Costa

Born in 1942. Antonio, a contemporary abstract artist of Indian origin, was born in Kenya and raised in Ethiopia. He obtained a BFA degree from the University of Calgary, Canada. For over thirty years, he has worked as an artist, urban planner, and architectural restorer, traveling the world. Having painted since he was 12 years old, he gradually worked his way through countries across the world, gathering local colours and customs to weave them into his own unique abstract tapestry. He has held exhibitions of his work in India and in countries across the world, his works being represented in several public and private collections within the country and internationally.
