Born in 1943. Studied at the College of Art, New Delhi. Recipient of several awards including the AIFACS Award, an award from the Sahitya Kala Parishad, New Delhi, and a senior Fellowship from the Government of India. Was Artist-in -Residence at 'Malaysian Experience/Malaysian Images', Kuala Lumpur. Has held solo exhibitions of her work in India, Europe, Australia and UK. Her work is represented in the collection of the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, and in international museums and institutions.
